Manifest Your Vision

“This is so much more than a shoot, it’s a divine experience.”

~ Simona Nu

How I Work

I’m a compassionate creative who prioritizes your experience.

Magic happens as we co-create together. We create until you get the visuals you need.

With twenty years of experience, I guide you to move with the light. Letting your inner light play with the outer light.

The play of shadows comes from within to surface. Your essence is captured on camera, a moment in time, always beautiful.

“Thank you so much Slavica!

I felt able to relax with you, to be able to shine. You brought out a side in me that only my lovers normally get to see. I felt so much self love and comfort in my own skin.

It was a very empowering experience and the effects stayed with me for a long time afterwards. We had some really incredible present moments together and I have been reaching back into them during my meditations ever since.

You managed to capture a very powerful deep inner transfiguration, and I have been able to take this with me out into the world.

The pictures are absolutely incredible! I am one very happy Shakti.”

Tell us about your experience as a videographer?

I’ve been photographing and a lover of light for almost 20 years. It all started with a roll of B&W, 35mm film and I haven’t stopped since.

I’ve always loved capturing people and telling the story of the moment in its natural state. However, I fell in love with almost every style of photography out there. I studied photography and art in college and continued with my own studies for years after.

Currently, I travel and photograph all over the world. Most of my work is portraiture and spiritual journeys through photography.

I spend most of my time bouncing between Thailand, Bali, India & the USA.

Are you available for retreats, workshops & trainings?
Yes, I have worked on many trainings and retreats. It provides great value for your growing business to have the retreat documented.

It’s also very special to capture your unique offerings and share them with friends and family.

Please check out a selection of my retreat photography HERE.

Do you photograph couples?
I love to!  Capturing the beauty and uniqueness of a couple in one of my favorite things to do.

In our pre-shoot meeting will talk about what’s unique and special to you in your lives and be sure to bring this into the shoot through ritual and with love.

How long is a session?
Typically the shoot is 1.5-2 hours or as long as you need it to be. We will discuss this in depth in our pre-shoot meeting.
How do you work?
I work by following the light; the light of the sun as well as the light in your eyes. Our shoot is a very intimate co-creation. Each moment is fresh and new. We are sure to learn a lot about each other.

I make sure that we get the shots that show you in your best light. It’s my priority for me to meet your needs.

I aim to capture the essential you and share your story. I capture the precious moments, special details as well as the cutting of the cake.

How do I prepare for our shoot?
Here’s a checklist for you:

  • Pack your bag with all the things we may need on the shoot the night before.
  • Get rest and arrive refreshed and energized.
  • Relax and treat yourself to something lovely. This shoot is all about shining your light. You do that best when relaxed.
  • Make sure you have eaten in the past few hours. Don’t arrive hungry and low energy.
  • Do your makeup and grooming before the shoot.
  • Don’t schedule something right after the shoot. It may run long and it’s best not to rush.
What can I do to prepare mentally & emotionally?
Relax, take this time for you. Practice coming with no expectations. Come ready to have fun and play.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable and let go into the unknown. This is RAW, live, fresh and about the essential you.

Here are some ideas to help you relax:

  • Listen to some music you love
  • Practice yoga
  • Dance
  • Take yourself to a nice lunch
  • Do a ritual the night before
  • Set an intention for the shoot
What do I need to bring?
Tips on what to bring:

  • Makeup/mirror/hair brush
  • Fun accessories to create different moods
  • A few sets/styles of clothing (avoid stripes and strong patterns, avoid white for headshots)
  • Your favorite music & playlists. It’s best to bring music that evokes different feelings, energies and moods
  • Your favorite props & hobby objects (musical instruments, hats, umbrella, veil, scarfs, glasses…)
  • Refreshing snack/beverages for our little breaks
  • A minimum of three clothing changes (patterns & stripes not recommended, avoid white for headshots) for a variety of photo styles
  • A friend for fun or encouragement
What happens after the shoot?
Through the magic of the internet. It’s simple and easy. All you need is an internet connection and computer.

I will send you a contact sheet of the best photos from our session. Then, you choose your favorites. I put the magic touch on them and deliver to your inbox for download.  Wella, you have a set of magnificent photos ready for you within 2 weeks.

Rest at ease, I’ll guide you through the photo selection process. Before you know it,  you will have the photos for your eyes and soul to devour.

Do you work with larger groups?
Yes, I do. I’ve worked with many groups on trainings that range from 1 day to 6 weeks.

I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve (if I’m wearing them) about how to work with groups.
